Catholic Anullment

Has anyone out there experienced a Catholic annulment?  I’m going through one right now, and it is so stressful.

I thought the petition was the only document I had to write. Ha!  The last two weekends ,I have been  completing a document of 42 questions. I would have been done earlier than later, but my questionnaire document corrupted. I lost half a day of writing. ~aargh~

So it is submitted, and I’m anxious.  Will my ex respond and participate or not? If he does will he try to sabotage the whole process? He’s not a nice person. He’s a sociopath that takes pleasure in hurting others including animals.  I was with him a long 18.5 years. He kept me under control by threatening to kill the animals; our pets and farm creatures.

So I wait. He has until the 18th to answer three questions.

I’m so Fracking Frustrated!

Yes, I’m frustrated.  To no end!  Why is it so hard for doctors to treat hypothyroidism?  Why do  they drag their feet in treating it? I was at least able to treat my edema that accompanies it, until Ma Huang was banned.  Now my non-pitting edema is out of control.  Mind you, regular water pills do not work.  This past month I have ordered around $200 worth of supplements in hope that one will straighten out my thyroid.  Today I ordered Horse chestnut extract and crossing my fingers that it will help me dump this fluid.  My legs are horrendous.  I’m pretty sure this excess fluid is causing my back issue.  ~Aargh~  Monday, I have a doctor appointment.  He’d better come up with something.  One, he needs to increase my armour, and secondly do something about this fluid.  It makes my legs and ankles itch and they hurt to the touch.

My husband’s dementia is stressing me as well.

Other than that, my life is good.  I love my job most of the time, except for next week.  It’s going to be stressful.  I have so much to do with my regular work plus a lot more extra than normal. I have to run off campus several times and spend hours at one place recruiting students.  Normally I don’t mind, but sitting at a table for hours when my back is messed up well all I can say is grrrr.  At least I have three gorgeous dogs, an ornery tort, and some hermit crabs to come home to.  Two of my crabs are going on ten years!  I love my crabs.  They each have their own individual personality.

Spring is here.  The snow is slowly melting and looking quite dirty.   Kallie, my tort wants outside, and the dogs are spending a lot more of their time out there too.  I wanted to get a bird feeder and a suet holder for our home here, but changed my mind.  I knew it would freak my hubby out.  He would fixate on it and obsess turning it into a problem and we would get to hear him angst over it.Not worth it.  I love birds, but I prefer my peace more.

Well I’m feeling better now that I’ve vented.  If anyone knows of an herb similar to ma huang please let me know.  I need it for this edema.  Thanks.

Long night or long morning?

One of my fur babies woke me to gagging and vomiting blood around I don’t know what time anymore. By the time we got back from the emergency vet it was around 4:00 am. Anyhow, looks like she cut her throat on something. The vet and her assistant were amazing. They let us be with her at all times. As a result, no issues sedating Star to do a scoping. They were calm and considerate with Star the entire time. I wonder if she takes regular patients. I muist check and see.

Facebook – Blocking

I truly love the blocking feature of Facebook. I had enough of a group of women so I blocked them all. It’s been such a sense of relief. I got tired of their made up drama in real life and online. Life is too short for their nonsense. Blocking can seem to be cruel, but in actuality, I think it’s better than just down and out unfriending them. By unfriending, they can locate you, whereas by blocking they can’t find you, and have no clue as to whether you have disabled your facebook page or not. That way you can’t hurt their feelings. If they do figure it out, then so be it. You aren’t obligated in anyway shape of form to stay friends with them in RL or FB.

Frustrated to no end

I found my class assignment quite frustrating today. I’m pretty proficient with Social Media, but Google Plus is giving me a great big headache.

I’m suppose to share from my Feedly anything I find interesting on Google plus.I even tried Delicious. I hit the Icon for Google plus, and it should show up under the +1 tab in profile. It worked months ago but no longer. Instead it shows up under the posts tab only. What am I doing wrong? It’s frustrating me to no end, and I’ve wasted a day tinkering with it. I’ve messaged my instructor, but she is away from her computer. Tis time for a margarita.

Mind you I am 53 years old. I’m taking a class in Access next semester. Once completed, I will receive my certificate in Computer applications. I’ve been trying for it since 2002. Life kept getting in the way, or I would have been finished by now. I so wanted to get an AAS, but I have no desire to spend another 7 years pursuing it. My job is stressful and hard. Top it off, when I go home, my sweet hubby will not leave me alone, even when he knows I am studying. He can’t help it. He has dementia. It affects his boundaries. Regardless, I love him. I’m blessed to have him. I pray I’m retired by the time he needs me home for full time care giving. I don’t want just anyone caring for him. The caregivers in this town don’t care about their patients other than one I know. Maybe I will be lucky and the one I know will be available at that time.
